Juane Xue
Juane Xue (Hui Xue, Kaiffeng, China, 1962) has been drawing since her childhood.
This helped her to go to the University of Henan after the Cultural Revolution to study western art of painting. After this she went to the Art Academy of Beijing. At the moment she gives Masterclasses Color at the 'Klassieke Academie voor Schilderkunst' in Groningen.
Juane Xue is well known for her intens use of color and her own, unique way of putting East and West together.
The way she works, she makes a radiant color palette.
She combines the subtility of the East with the explicit colors of the French and German expressionists.
