Tamara Muller

Tamara Muller (1975, Wehe den Hoorn) received her artistic education at the Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague from 1993-1997. Growing up, Muller saw herself surrounded with an artistic family. Both her parents, Clary Mastenbroek and Wout Muller, are well known in the world of Dutch magic realistic art. During her studies in The Hague she took classes in painting, photography and film. Between 1998 and 2001 she starts her career as an artist and illustrator. In 2005 she starts her Masters degree at the Post St. Joost in Breda. Here she graduates in 2007. In 2006 she works in Tokyo and receives an nomination for the BuningBrongersprijs. In addition to painting, Muller creates performances and films. Since 2007she is a fulltime independent artist. Her work has a high standard and is considered museum worthy. In 2010 one of her works was bought by the Drents Museum in Assen to become part of their collection.
