CornelisDoolaard (1944, Portugaal) graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts in Rotterdam. He is a painter who continues to study and develops without limits. After exploring different artistic phases, from surrealism to figurative abstraction, the last years he especially addressed realistic approaches to painting with puzzling, erotic and sometimes literary subjects. Doolaard has the nerve to play with anatomical proportions and perspective.
